Beginning Thursday, a new high pressure front is expected to bring windy weather to Qatar, causing some isolated showers and a “noticeable” drop in temperatures, the Qatar Meteorology Department (MET) has said.
The windspeed will reach up to 37 knots (69 km/hour) in some places, causing visibility to fall in some areas.
During this time period, maximum temperatures in Doha will drop to between 20-23C (68-73F) during the day and 15-18C (59-64F) at night, the forecaster added.
