Qatar’s national football team was defeated 2-3 to South Korea yesterday, its third straight loss in the third qualifying rounds before the 2018 World Cup.
Though the team remains at the bottom of its group, new coach Jorge Fosatti said he was still “very optimistic about the qualification,” as Qatar had just “confronted one of the top four teams in Asia,” Gulf Times reports. Qatar faces Syria today.
