Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana
The world’s most famous Qatari baby will be entering the world soon.
American superstar Janet Jackson has announced that she is expecting her first baby at the age of 50.
The singer – who married Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana in 2012 – confirmed the pregnancy to America’s People magazine, adding:
“We thank God for our blessing.”
The star posed for a photo for the magazine, showing off her growing bump.
Jackson did not reveal when her baby is due.
Canceled tour
The news that she is expecting follows the abrupt cancellation of Jackson’s “Unbreakable” tour earlier this year.
In a video explaining her reasons for bringing the tour to an end, Jackson said in April that there had been a “sudden change”:

“My husband and I are planning our family,” she said in the message. “I have to rest up, doctor’s orders.”
